Among Us
Review
Features
First and foremost, as a strategic asymmetrical combat multiplayer competitive game, with its unique thrill of requiring players to protect themselves from being killed by impostors or trying to hide their identities while going on space missions with a group of unidentified other players, Among Us, it fully exercises the psychological quality and reasoning ability of the vast number of players.
Secondly, the skill of making stealthy assassinations and the strong reasoning and observation required to survive in different roles also test the player’s strategic and judgment skills.
Thirdly, the sci-fi and humorous space setting and the cute cartoon characters also ensure that the players can relax and enjoy the animation effects in the game which is full of deception and tension.
Fourth, Among Us offers a large number of mini-games for players who have obtained the crew's identity to repair the ship, such as traversing the maze or connecting the colorful lines, which adds a touch of fun and challenge to the treacherous atmosphere of the game.
Fifth, Among Us, a well-designed voice chat feature that allows players to talk about real criminals and vote makes the game truly interactive and social.
Pros And Cons
When it comes to the pros, it’s easy to pick up and intuitive to play Among Us, making it ideal for casual gamers and party situations. There are also various customization options, such as changing your character’s color and hat, so you can make your character unique. Not only that, but Among Us are a variety of maps and game modes that make the experience different every time you play. The game also has an online chat feature that encourages players to communicate with each other, work together and strategize in real time to identify impostors. This makes the game more dynamic and increases the replayability of the game.
Even so, there are intolerable problems in Among Us. First, there is the problem of matching mechanics, as players are often matched with malicious players who deliberately destroy the atmosphere and normal gameplay, resulting in a poor gaming experience. The game also doesn’t have many options for customizing characters or environments. The limited variety of mechanics also results in the game doesn’t have much depth.
Reviews
Among Us is a multiplayer, online game developed by Innersloth LLC. It is available on both PC and mobile and has gained a huge following since its release in June 2018.
The objective of Among Us is to complete tasks and identify the traitor within a group of players. The game takes place in a space-themed setting, and tasks can range from fixing wires, to collecting ore, to operating a tractor beam. The traitor's objective is to sabotage the tasks and hide among the other players.
The game is played by 4-10 players, each of which is randomly assigned one of two roles; either Crewmate or Imposter. The Crewmate’s goal is to complete all the tasks, while the Imposter’s goal is to sabotage the players and kill them. The catch is that the Imposters look exactly like other players, making it much harder for the Crewmates to identify who is the Impostor.
Overall, Among Us is a great game for those looking for a thrilling and suspenseful multiplayer experience. It's easy to learn but challenging to master, and the various customization options allow players to express their own style. Despite its cartoonish art style, the game can be quite suspenseful, making it a great game for those who like to solve mysteries.
